Deborah Brown, Executive Coach

 

Deborah Brown holds a M.A. in Organizational Psychology and a B.S. in Psychology. In addition to her executive coaching work, she is an adjunct professor in the Organization Behavior Department at New York University.  She is certified in Lominger, a Korn Ferry assessment tool and NBI, whole brain creativity assessments.

Deborah has presented at the Conference Board’s Tough Issues Conference and has appeared on Good Day New York and numerous radio programs.  She has been quoted in Black Enterprise, The New York Times, The Washington Post and Essence Magazine.  Prior to her work as an independent consultant, Deborah held various leadership roles at Catalyst, Lee Hecht Harrison and Bell Labs.

Deborah is best known for coaching women of color to overcome the distinctive challenges they face in organizations through her work at Catalyst, with The Leader’s Edge and inclusion/engagement initiatives.  She and Dana were recently facilitators at the Carter Club NYC Leadership Symposium.  This event for women of color in the C-suite included participants from Aetna, Avon, Bank of America, Citigroup, Diageo, Discovery Communications, Exxon, Hertz, Inter-American Development Bank, Mastercard, McGraw Hill, MetLife, Morgan Stanley, Pfizer, Pitney Bowes, and Verizon.  More about her dynamic coaching successes at the Leadership Edge workshop, February 2012.


Erlina Edwards, Executive Coach, Enneagram Trainer

 

Erlina G. Edwards has comprehensive experience with law departments and the C-suite addressing issues of executive succession and employee relations.  She has led HR departments and extensive global performance effectiveness programs for Intuit and other multinationals.

Erlina is certified in numerous leadership development instruments, including Enneagram, MBTI, 360-Feedback, and Performance Management.  She is best known for her dynamic, in-person training.  Currently, she is a lead trainer on a project for Raytheon executives.

 


Linda Frazee, Enneagram Coach

 

Linda Frazee and Dana Mayer’s work spans more than a decade.  They first teamed up to develop a curriculum for DuPont legal assistants, then later the PLF managing partners, and most recently collaborated to design business simulations for Chief Legal Executive’s knowledge network, The Carter Club.

Linda’s professional training is in psychology and speech.  She is best known for her masterful interpretation of the Enneagram having worked with the assessment instrument and industry leader, Helen Palmer, for 13 years.  Linda sees clients in-person in Scottsdale, AZ.

 


Careen Rizzo. Careen, Dana and Linda have designed programs together for 12 years, most recently collaborating to develop the PolyD™ leadership system to accelerate the success of women and people of color.
Careen is a lecturer and seminar leader in the areas of organizational development and media literacy.  She teaches leadership in the Masters program at Notre Dame University and previously taught a Masters program at Goucher College. She has developed and supervised over 20 educational programs for adults, including enterprise-wide diversity and multiculturalism for Sheppard Pratt Health System.
Careen holds a M.A. in Mediation and Conflict Resolution, and a B.S. in Psychology.  She is most highly regarded for her applied experience with leaders of judicial, law enforcement, and education systems.  This work included  groundbreaking, multi-organizational, collaborations with judges, attorneys, and educators.

Pat Tary has coached executives from around the world since 2003 when she began working with Management Research Group and Lee Hecht Harrison.  Prior to becoming an executive coach, she was VP of HR at Fannie Mae, Wilmer Hale, and the Mortgage Bankers Association of America.Pat and Dana have worked with Hubbard & Revo Cohen (HRC), a research and investing firm. HRC conducted some of the first diversity and inclusion studies conducted by MCCA.  Pat is best known for her experience working in multinational situations with senior members of legal teams handling complex matters.

Evan Yares  brings a unique perspective on human behavior, systems thinking, and computer science to PolyD™.  Known as a coach’s coach, Evan has avoided entering corporate offices for over a decade and is generally believed to be a figment of Dana’s imagination.  Those prone to internet research and fact-finding may be relieved to discover Evan’s background includes an Engineering degree from Arizona State University and a strong record of leadership in computer aided design (CAD), association management, and journalism.
